Questions
Do you accept debut authors?
Yes, absolutely. Publishing credits are not a requirement. We care about the work, not the CV. If this is your first book and it's ready, send it.
How explicit can the content be in erotica submissions?
We publish literary erotica for adults and we don't have a content ceiling on consensual adult sexuality. What we do require is that the explicit content is purposeful and well-written — not gratuitous for its own sake. All content must involve adults and all content must be consensual or clearly framed as non-consensual within a narrative that handles it responsibly.
Do you accept work that blends multiple genres?
Yes, and we actively welcome it. Horror romance, erotic urban fantasy, bubblegum horror with a romantic throughline — genre hybrids are our sweet spot. Just be clear about the primary genre in your query so we can route it correctly.
What rights do you acquire?
We acquire English language print and digital rights as standard. Translation rights, audio rights, and dramatic rights are negotiated individually. All contracts are author-friendly and reviewed by our rights team before signing. We will always walk you through what you're signing.
Can I resubmit a manuscript you've previously passed on?
If we requested the full and passed with specific editorial feedback, and you've done substantial revision in response to that feedback — yes, you may resubmit. Please note in your subject line that it is a revised resubmission and briefly describe the changes made.
Do you offer editorial feedback on passes?
On query and sample stage passes, we offer brief notes where possible but cannot guarantee detailed feedback at volume. On full manuscript passes, we always aim to provide substantive editorial notes. We know how hard you worked on it.
